Our Impact
Completed Projects
In June 2023, the Bill & Lisa Peithmann Splash Pad opened. This pad features three age-appropriate zones, including a water table, a giant dumping bucket, and fun for all. Located at Barber Park, this facility also includes the Mahomet Lions Club inclusive playground, and the Fisher National Bank amphitheater. All park upgrades all have ADA-compliant access points for all children to play and participate. This project was a true community effort, with many businesses, organizations, and individuals stepping up to supplement the grant money the Village secured for this project.
We were able to provide funding for the Middletown Park tennis court lights. These courts are available to the girls’ and boys’ tennis teams as well as our community members who enjoy the sport. Tennis is one of the top 10 fastest growing sports in the country, so we’re thrilled that we can help provide our community with facilities to play this sport.
In the Works
We are excited to help bring pickleball courts to our community! Pickleball is a fun sport for people of all ages and we’ve heard the calls for court space dedicated to this activity. Our current fundraising efforts are dedicated to pickleball and serving community needs.
